The Revolution Hotel Brings Life to Boston’s History

Over the last few years, PCA and the Mount Vernon Company have teamed together to create an immersive experience in Boston’s South End. The Revolution Hotel, opening in December 2018, breathes new life into a former YWCA. With help from branding & creative direction studio, Adam & Co., PCA’s interior design team worked closely with Mount Vernon to craft an eclectic mix of old and new, touched with artistic elements throughout.

“It’s all a way to communicate the history of the city — and to give guests something to talk about — in a way that’s fun” said Morgan Pierson, executive vice president at Mount Vernon. “How do we make it cool? Art, and execution,” he said. “And doing it in a way that doesn’t feel like a museum.”

“This is one of one,” said Mount Vernon’s chairman, Bruce Percelay. “There will not be anything else like it.”
