Knitting together existing urban fabric with zero lot line insertion of 38,950 SF, 5-story building with 32 market-rate one-bedroom units over retail/restaurant use and underground parking. Located on Audubon Circle at Park Drive.

Solution

900 Beacon Street is located on a 11,952-SF site in Boston’s Audubon Circle neighborhood, on the MBTA’s Green Line near iconic Fenway Park and Boston University. The new five-story, 38,950-square-foot, mixed-use building will add 32 one-bedroom apartments and 4,470 SF of ground-floor retail space as well as 30 underground and 6 above-ground parking spaces to the neighborhood.

The design reconnects the street wall, incorporating modern elements while maintaining the rhythm and character of adjacent and neighborhood buildings. Ground floor retail enlivens the sidewalk experience, creating a new synergy with its urban setting.
