When first built, Element featured with conservative, neutral palette appropriate for the profile of the demographic it was meant to attract. However, our addition of Edge and Eco to the Green District, with bold modern and industrial design, changed the texture of the neighborhood – the finishes no longer seemed of the same family as the newer buildings. The PCA interior design team stepped in to assist National Development to bring Element into the fold of the Green District’s aesthetics.

We refreshed the interior public spaces to make them more in keeping with the overall look and feel of the Green District, and renovated the ground floor fitness center to create a new leasing office that would service all three buildings. As with Eco and Edge, our team relied on a European aesthetic, drawing upon modernist, playful design trends with vibrant pops of color throughout. This decidedly modern approach updated Element to mesh with the Green District as a whole.
