Interior upgrade of 3,500 SF offices as part of overall interiors and tech upgrade of historic building including lobby, auditorium, classrooms, break-out space, and mezzanine totaling 30,000 SF.
PCA completed an interior and AV/IT upgrade of this historic downtown Boston building that allows MCLE to keep up with modern demand for online and webcast materials. As part of the overall renovation, PCA was asked to reintegrate MCLE’s offices on the third floor with former shared tenant space.
The offices are arranged to accommodate two diverse groups, with copywriters acoustically separated from IT by a private office to create discrete acoustic zones.
The new offices provide private, semi-private and collaborative work space for MCLE staff. Finishes, lighting and colors complement those used in the renovated public spaces downstairs, where harmonious yet contextual design retains historic ambiance while adding versatility and interactivity to the space.
