Amenities and public space upgrades in three existing multi-family developments, 50, 55 & 75 Station Landing
National Development sought to update the interiors of three 10-year old buildings to better compete with new developments in the area. Initially hired to help refresh only the corridors, the interior team’s design approach led the client to expand PCA’s scope to include all building amenities and public spaces.
The design concept centers around a sophisticated yet fun aesthetic that is welcoming without being too trendy. With buildings occupied primarily by a professional and international demographic in their mid-30s, the goal was to create an environment that encourages neighborly interaction and engagement within each building’s community.
All three buildings have chic hotel-style lobbies, with package concierges and seating areas. A welcoming palette of natural wood and juicy accent colors paired with playful furniture, fabrics and graphics help to refresh each building. Fitness areas have been upgraded in both 50 and 55 including new equipment as well as a dedicated yoga studio. The patios of both buildings are also furnished with new outdoor lounge furniture and plantings.
Renovations expand into adjacent retail space at 55 Station Landing, adding a new ground floor club room offering seating areas around a fireplace and workspaces for collaboration. A new, sleek kitchenette provides residents a place to host a catered party or simply relax and watch TV.
